Kayla Townsend
Operations Manager
Kayla began working at Urban Optics in 2018. She is a graduate of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ‘19 and loves creating a positive work environment for all our employees. She is devoted to creating an office culture of professionalism, teamwork and growth. When not at work, you will find her watching aggie football, socializing or traveling with family and friends!
Eryn Brotchrup
Sales Director – A.B.O. Certified
Eryn is our most experienced optical technician with 20 years under her belt. She is certified by the American Board of Opticians, graduate of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of ‘03, and has been with Dr. Greene for the last 15 years. She is devoted to great customer service and making sure you love your glasses. When not at the office, she can be found playing with her 4 kids and husband. There is no better person to turn to in the Brazos Valley for all your glasses needs.
Krista Marquez
Optical Manager - C.P.O Certified
Krista has worked in the optical field for over 8 years and enjoys helping our patients pick out frames, lenses and sunglasses that best fit their needs. She devotes her time at work to making sure Urban Optics has the best selection in the Brazos Valley by working directly with each Company's Representatives to pick high quality inventory. Although her home base in our office is Optical, Krista is also very experienced in communications, clinical teaching and productions. She looks forward to growing with the Urban Optics family and developing herself with more certifications! Outside of work, she will be found spending time with her 11 year old son and spouse. Go Cowboys!
Edgar Hernandez
Lab Director
Edgar has been our Lab Manager for over 8 years and has become very well educated on the production equipment as well as the physics of optical lenses making him able to cut lenses for the majority of the glasses we sell. Edgar appreciates the finer things in life and pays great attention to detail, ensuring all patients receive the highest quality in product when shopping with Urban Optics. In his free time he loves spending time with family and listening to music.
Jenna Wiltshire
Clinical Manager - C.P.O Certified
Jenna began working for Urban Optics in 2020. She is a great addition to the Urban Optics team and truly embodies our core value of trusting teamwork. She loves helping co-workers/patients and always brings a positive experience to the Urban Optics office. In her downtime at work, she will be educating herself further and making sure that she can provide the best quality care to all patients. When not at work she has a husband and 3 beautiful kids that keep her very busy!
Paige Vecera
Contact Lens Manager. CPO & CPOA
Paige has been working in the eye care industry for over 8 years and has been with Urban Optics family since April of 2019. Paige Oversees the coordination of contact lenses, including ordering and replenishing supplies as needed, instructing technicians on the latest technological advancements in contact lenses, and insertion and removal training with patients. She is deeply passionate about supporting our specialty contact lens patients and is committed to delivering an outstanding contact lens experience to each individual. Outside of work, she embraces the roles of a devoted mother to newborn twins and a lively six-year-old, as well as a loving wife to her husband of seven years. . She enjoys wine and aspires to one day learn the craft of winemaking.
LeeAnn Townsend
Dry Eye Manager
LeeAnn has been with urban optics since the beginning of 2021. She started in our office as a receptionist and her work at the front desk allowed her to grow into a well educated clinical technician. LeeAnn has a passion for helping others and takes pride in creating a high quality Dry Eye Clinic for those patients in need of relief. She pays great attention to detail and dedicates her time to listening to each patient’s needs. In her free time she loves playing with her dog, selling scentsy and shopping.
Jennifer McLemore
Finance Manager
Jennifer has been with the Urban Optics team since August 2016. She does a little bit of everything; from making sure every patient's insurance is used to its full potential, to helping patients pick out the perfect pair of glasses for each unique personality. Originally from San Antonio, Jennifer moved here with her husband of 8 years. In March of 2020 she welcomed her daughter Tara into the world. Some of her favorite things include spending time with her husband and little girl, Aggie Baseball, music and good food.
Kenzie Fredrickson
Communications Manager
Urban Optics is happy to have Kenzie’s customer service skills in our communications department. She is very well spoken and always ensures customers are happily taken care of by listening, guiding and providing accurate feedback needed for all types of patients. If you have not worked with Kenzie just know you will have a smile on your face. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her horses, swimming and eating a snack!
Shelby Stallings
Lead Technician
Shelby began working in the optometry field in 2021. She strives to create one-of-a-kind experiences for each individual patient by providing in-depth expertise knowledge. She is well trained in our technology and works great with families. In Shelby’s free time you will find her fishing, traveling, and hanging out with her husband!

Savannah Fort
Optical Specialist
Savannah began working for Urban Optics in March of 2022. She loves the optical side of optometry and finds herself constantly wanting to grow and broaden her knowledge, ensuring she is able to help all our patient's needs with frames and lenses. Savannah brings personality, customer service and creativity to the Urban Family. At home, she spends time with her 3 dogs, painting murals and playing her ukulele.
Kyle Landry
Optical Assistant - A.B.O. Certified
Kyle has been working in the optometry field for 7 years. He is the jack of all trades in our office and loves getting to know each of his patients. His knowledge is exceptional and we truly love having him as a part of our Urban Optics Family. In 2017, he received his ABO certification and uses this to provide quality care to all. Outside of work he loves spending time with his wife and listening to good music.
Elizabeth Miller
Optometric Technician
Elizabeth moved from Hawaii to College Station in 2022. She is fluent in exceptional patient care and loves being in the insurance department. She began her experience in the medical field about 5 years ago and started working with Urban optics as a Clinical Technician. Although she is greatly missed in the Clinic Department she has been a great addition to her new role as an Insurance Specialist. In Elizabeth's free time, she likes to do yoga, hiking, eating ice cream and most importantly spending time with her 2 beautiful children!
Barbara Wright
Billing / Insurance Specialist
Barbara has been in the optical business for about 25 years and has been with Dr. Greene ever since he started 21 years ago! She is in charge of our billing department and files claims with our patient’s insurance companies. Barb has been married for 45 years, has 2 sons, 3 grandsons and loves spending time with all of them.
Hunter Scammon
Productions Assistant
Hunter just recently started working at Urban Optics. He is excited to work alongside our very well experienced Productions Manager and learn all the ins and outs of lenses as well as the machines. In Hunters free time you will find him training to become a firefighter or hanging out with friends. Hunter is very excited to gain more knowledge and work for a fun company!
